Celt Islam is one of the few producer/artist that is underrated these days. His sound is reggae dustep with an epic adventure. The 5 song EP Raqs al Maghreb is a clear journey through dub in all its facets, international in scope, heavy in bass, rich in ambient textures, and deep in roots. This is the soundtrack of future frequency full spectrum vibes. This is best played as an entire piece in your pod of choice and get lost in the sonic textures and effects and of course the bass. put it on and it wont disappoint. Riddem full of culture Ya'll.....

Celt Islam is an English Muslim, Sufi and a member of the northern British alternative dub/breaks outfit Nine Invisibles and Analogue Fakir . Celt-Islam uses a fusion of music from Dub/Electro/Drum andBass and collaborates it with Islamic/world grooves to create a Dub driven dance crossover. Celt Islam has played alongside Public Enemy's Bomb Squad , Fleck, DJ UMB, The Orb, Hardfloor, Rex Offender aka Smart Moneky ,DJ Bobby Friction, DJ Pathaan, and played the Introducing stage Glastonbury 2010.
Secret Archives of the Vatican - Transnational BreakBeat
Their music is usually described as Transglobal Breakbeat Dub Science as it contains elements of many genres: breakbeat, dub, dubstep, drumstep, triphop, drum and bass, Indian, Arabian and Turkish musics and many more. They are a small collective, based across the UK but with main recording facilities in Croydon, South London.

Artist ,songwriter and producer from Manchester, NonChalant has a unique sound which resonates with depth and a quality which transcends across many musical styles and genres. Nonchalant is a regular and popular artist played by BBC Asian Network's Bobby Friction and has gained the respect and attention from the commited listeners of the BBC radio channel. The Nonchalant is currently working on a new music project with an eclectic collection of tracks with a futuristic /world fusion sound twisted with an asian and arabic flavour under the banner of Cafe Manchester which represents all the beautiful colours and textures of the ever changing cosmopolitan city of Manchester.
Euphonique
Female Jungle, Drum and Bass and Ragga DJ & producer best known as the founder of Sub-Woofah and spin off ' The Jungle Takeover' club nights run throughout Manchester, Leeds and London. Runner up in the Skiddle DJ of the year competition in 2010, she has warmed up the stage for some of the biggest players in the game, holding numerous residencies and playing at some of the bests clubs in the country! Check out her radio show on Unity Radio 92.8FM Thursdays 11pm-1am

Generation Bass presents Transnational Dubstep

Transnational Dubstep is the first major compilation to document the fusion of dubstep and global roots music. It has been conceptualized & compiled by co-owner/editor & the driving force behind the Generation Bass blog, DJ UMB in cooperation with Six Degrees Records.
By utilizing influences from Cumbia to Balkan-Chinese to Indian-Middle Eastern to Japanese-the songs on this unique collection represent the cutting edge vanguard of a whole new electronic sub-genre that is ready to capture the ears and imaginations of listeners world-wide.
DJ Umb and his partner Vincent Koreman [co-owner/editor & founder of the blog] had the arduous task of choosing from over 300 tracks locked inside DJ Umb’s Transnational Dubstep vault. The pair narrowed the tracks down to 30 for licensing and then Umb finalised the selection and sequencing.

Since the release of Celt’s debut album Dervish last year his reputation as a producer, remixer and performer has grown solid. He has been busy working on new material and playing club nights and festivals in the UK and Europe with his live outfit the Celt Islam Soundsystem. Celt’s live performances have had audiences mesmerised with his unique mix of heavyweight dub riddims, DnB and dubstep, fused together with a strong middle eastern flavour. This original sound earned him a slot on the BBC Introducing stage at this years Glastonbury festival, which was followed up by a cracking profile in the BBC documentry 'Hello Glastonbury'.
In the last year Celt has released tracks on compilations such as Fuel Vol 2, Sufi's Secret 2 and On the Level by Future Dub along with the Foundation Trilogy EP's on U.S.R.
The new album Al Mizan started out life as an exclusive 6 track download EP back in August on the Urban Sedated download store, demand has been high for a physical product so we have prepared for you a beautiful, tangible, limited edition CD with 9 new tracks and fresh artwork.
So turn up the bass levels, and enjoy the second album from Celt Islam – featuring the many talents of Bongo Chilli, Ricoshay, Inder Goldfinger, DanMan and Dawoud Kringle.
